What a quarter… One collapsed bank later, rising interest rates, yet real estate considered ‘the’ tangible asset to invest in is seen as the safe haven. Our registrations and buying inquiries are 56% up on last year for the same quarter and the trends we see are that investors looking for prime property that is less susceptible to market fluctuations. Prime locations such as W1 in London are offering steady if not significant Capital Growth over the coming years but rents continue to sharply rise due to lack of supply and the interest rate increase pushing buyers to the rental market rather than sit on high-rate variable mortgages.
